About
Welcome!
I’m a storyteller, I speak through lines, values, hues, textures, form, and movement.
My preferred mediums to work in are gouache, graphite, charcoal, paint, micron pen, and film, although I explore as many mediums as I can get my hands on. I use these mediums both traditionally and digitally.
My first step in my art practice is being a curious listener, an information gatherer. According to previous mentors, my strength is in knowing how to research and in visualizing information. For my artistic inspiration I focus on:
the mechanics and mysteries of nature
the riddles of social issues
inefficient design problems
the structures of brilliantly crafted stories
and on the people building the environmentally sustainable solutions that will support our future
These are my muses and what motivates my work.
I specialize in conceptual art, storyboarding, and filmmaking. I taught filmmaking classes at Light House Studio for four years. I’ve been contracted to create concept art to promote a tv show called Borders by Antac Entertainment. Most recently I’ve been a designer and graphic artist at Ampa Events.
I originally decided to study art because I was seeking the ability to communicate my ideas as a visual learner and thinker. After much study and much experience, I finally have the skills to draw what’s in my head and the ability to ask great questions to do that for others. Tell me your ideas, your stories and your design problems.
